This January, we had the honor of participating as judges in TecPrize 2025, one of the most important educational innovation initiatives in Latin America and the Caribbean. Organized by the Institute for the Future of Education at Tecnológico de Monterrey, TecPrize is more than a competition—it's a space for collaboration, impact, and transformation.
What is TecPrize?
TecPrize is an open innovation initiative aimed at showcasing, promoting, and scaling innovative solutions to the region’s most pressing educational challenges. It does so through the design of challenges that bring together collective intelligence to imagine and build the future of learning.
Since its inception, the program has brought together thousands of change agents and generated tangible results: winning and finalist startups have raised over 3 million dollars in capital and impacted more than 1.5 million learners across diverse contexts and learning modalities.
Collective intelligence to transform education
One of the most inspiring pillars of TecPrize is its focus on collective intelligence—the idea that knowledge and creativity multiply when shared. Each challenge gathers experts, entrepreneurs, researchers, and educators committed to designing high-impact solutions that address real issues in the educational system.

Our experience as judges
Being part of the TecPrize 2025 jury was a rewarding and challenging experience. We had the opportunity to discover projects with tremendous transformative potential, led by teams dedicated to changing how we teach, learn, and build more equitable educational opportunities.
Evaluating these initiatives reaffirmed our mission: to support organizations and entrepreneurs who are reimagining the future of education—with purpose, technology, and a human-centered approach.
