MKF Ventures Joins Volcano Innovation Summit in Guatemala

MKF Ventures participated in the Volcano Innovation Summit, held in Antigua, Guatemala, from September 5–7, bringing together founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders from across Latin America.

José García Herz, Managing Partner at MKF Ventures, joined the summit as part of a regional community focused on strengthening connections across the startup and venture capital ecosystem. The event provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives, build new relationships, and connect with key players working to advance innovation across the region.

Beyond the conversations and new connections, the summit highlighted the importance of trust as a foundation for building strong ecosystems. In venture capital, meaningful relationships extend beyond individual transactions: trust enables founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders to establish lasting partnerships and collaborate toward long-term growth.

For Latin America’s startup ecosystem, continuing to develop capital, talent, and innovative products also requires strengthening the relationships that connect them. Events such as Volcano Innovation Summit contribute to creating those connections across markets and communities.

MKF Ventures remains committed to engaging with founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders across Latin America and contributing to the development of a more connected regional startup ecosystem.
